303 Fabric Guard is the only product recommended by and for Sunbrella, as well as other fabric manufacturers to restore lost water repellency to fabrics. Resist water, even when you’re on the water. 303 Fabric Guard creates a powerful shield to greatly increase repellency and protect against oil and water- based stains. Spray it on fabric boat covers, awnings, Dacron sails and more! When applied to clean and dry fabrics, 303 Fabric Guard restores lost water and stain repellency to straight-from-the-factory levels. Keep all your favorite fabrics crisp and clean for years to come.
Product liquid and spray are flammable, keep product and treated article (until dry) away from heat, sparks or open flames. Do not smoke when applying 303® Fabric Guard. Spray until evenly wet, overlapping sprayed areas.
NOTE: Reduced coverage when applied with paint roller or brush. Apply to fabric above 70°F/21°C. (For quicker drying/curing and best results, apply in full sun.) Treated material must be protected from rain/dew until completely cured.
CURING: 12-24 hours dependent on temperature. If these steps are performed correctly, the material will be water repellent at this point. 303 Fabric Guard will need reapplication depending on fabric exposure to sunlight and weather conditions; pour water on fabric to determine need to retreat fabric.
COVERAGE: 40-75 sq. ft. (30 x 60cm) depending on material and application method.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mazz from 303 fabric guardreceived last week and I promptly took cover off the pontoon boat to waterproof it. I enjoyed the hand pump action as I think it works better than aerosol products. Bottle easily cover the whole canvass top. I left the boat cover on dock to dry and went fishing for a couple hours. When I returned the wind had kicked up and blown 90% of cover into the lake! Product should be on cover for a few hours to "set" before getting wet , obviously I goofed that up. After a couple rains I find the waterproofing is working on the cover but to be sure I need to run out a pick up another bottle and follow the directions [ keep cover dry of a few hours after application].

Rated 5 out of 5 by PRM1 from Great WaterprooferI used this on my EZ-UP that I take with to shows and camping. Was always looking for something that would help with water repellency. Fabric Guard does just that. The water just beaded off the canvas. Easy application. Just spray on and let the sun do the rest. Great product and highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from 28 year old convertible.I have a 1992 Saab 900T convertible. It was perfect til I spent a little over 2 years in Georgia. The last year there 2016 Augusta set a record for highest temperatures recorded. We had 19 days of 95 degs and 4 days with temps at 104. Needless to say that wasn't good for my rag top. Started using it while there and still have to use now. It works, don't know for how long. Can't find anyone who will tackle replacing it. To expensive anyhow, for a 28 yr old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Backlash from Works GreatI used this on my patio umbrella and it worked awesome. I liked it so much I bought the gallon container to use on my bass boat cover. I used a pump sprayer that I spray weed killer with and put the wide spray nozzle on it. The sprayer worked okay but I think I will follow the advise of some other reviewers and try to brush it on next time. As for the the boat cover, it beads water like a freshly waxed car hood!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark58 from Seems to work grreatI applied this to the carpet on my boat plus the cloth seats in my wife's car. The product seems to perform as hoped. Fish blood wipes off of my boat carpet easily now. It will take more time to experience the results on my wife's car seats, but I have every expectation that it will work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chey from Awesome water proof productI used this on my 5 year old vinyl convertible top on my Miata. It looks better than new and beads water better tan anything . They said it was not for vinyl convertible tops and I used it anyway and have no regrets
I used Marine Fabric Guard on my cars canvas convertible top. Is this the right product or do you have something better for my application? How often should I treat my top?

Hi. You used the correct product as the formula, benefits, and mode of application are the same as the original 303 Fabric Guard. We recommend applying it every couple of months for maximum water repellency. Hope that helps!

Coverage of 1 gal? The coverage sq ft doesn't change at all so I'm not sure which size it is referring to. I need to do a 20' x 8'6" boat cover so need to know how much I need.

Hi. One gallon of 303 Fabric Guard covers about 320-400 square feet. remember, only a light coating is needed as oversaturation takes more product and longer to cure/dry. Hope that helps!

My black canvas boat cover is leaving black streaks on my white gelcoat. I believe it is because the cover is dirty. Is 303 multi surface the right cleaner for the cover? After cleaning should I use fabric guard or 303 protectant on the cover?

Hi. Anytime there is colorfastness, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer to find out what kind of product is safe to use to avoid any further discoloration. In the meantime, we do not recommend using our products until it is deemed safe to do so. If there are any questions, please feel free to let us know,
