Check to be sure fuel line and filters are clean and not plugged and fuel can flow. Check spark plug for deposits and clean or replace if required. Check fuel level in gas tank, add gasoline or OEM approved blend of 2-cycle oil and fresh gasoline, as needed, to assure sufficient gasoline to start engine. Invert the aerosol can upside down, press on the valve side and aim into the fuel tank (Do not spray product into the air or your face). The can will empty in ~30 – 60 seconds. Use of unmixed gasoline in a 2-cycle engine can cause engine failure and should never be attempted. Start per the OEM equipment manual recommended starting procedure. If engine does not start a mechanical repair may be required.
Aerosol product dispenses from the top of the valve, turn can upside down and aim valve into fuel tank to dispense the product. Do not use near fire, flames, sparks or any sources of ignition (No Smoking). Use in well ventilated area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PRM1 from Start your Engines is PerfectEvery year in the spring I go through the same thing with my leaf blower, weed wacker and other small engine equipment I have in my shed. Always hard to start after the winter. Well, not anymore. I tried Start in my leaf blower after putting new gas and Start in it and after the 2nd pull it started. I have never been able to get it to start on anything less than the 20th pull if at all. I then tried on my trimmer. Same results. I am quite impressed with this product. On to the generator that always gives me fits and the one pressure washer. I am sure the results will be the same. Thanks Start. You have made my life easier this Spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stymies from Mower started on second pull after sitting 2 yearsI own a Lawn Boy Self-Propelled lawn mower I bought in 2009. Over the last 2 years I have had a lawn service cut the grass but this year I decided to save some money and start cutting it myself again. Needless to say, when I used the mower over 2 years ago I never emptied the gas. I went to Home Depot and bought a new spark plug, filter and I decided to try Start Your Engines! Fuel System Revitalizer so I didn’t have to drain the old fuel. To my surprise, the lawn mower started on the second pull and ran like it was new. I just cut the grass again last night and it started on the first pull. I’m not sure how long it will continue to perform at this level but it’s a lot cheaper to buy a couple bottles of Start Your Engines! Fuel System Revitalizer then to buy a new lawn mower. I am very pleased with this product and I will definitely being be purchasing more in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tagr33 from Works like a charmI have an antique 2 cycle BikeBug bicycle engine that had sat unused in my garage, and had not run for two years. The gasoline in the tank had evaporated almost entirely, leaving a residue of 2 cycle oil in the bottom. I put half a bottle of Start in the tank and filled the rest with fresh 2 cycle mix, squeezed the primer bulb about 10 times, and tried to start the engine. The engine started on the first try, and ran like a Swiss watch. This stuff is magical!

Rated 5 out of 5 by JSD1 from Works as advertisedJust tried this with my powerwasher - it's been sitting all winter (and no - I didn't drain the gas out before storing it). Added the Start revitalizer and filled the tank, started on the 4th pull (typically takes a dozen before I get any sign of life from the engine) .

Rated 5 out of 5 by jptrucker1 from Cold Start MarvelI used START! in my Poulan chainsaw. It had been sitting for over 4 months with over the winter with no use. I chose this saw since it is usually a hard starter. I followed directions using half a bottle and topping off the tank with fresh fuel. The temperature was still below freezing. Three short pulls and the saw fired up. Then started on the first pull after that. I am impressed with this product and will be trying it in my generator and weed eater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by g90g00 from It really works!!!I was trying to start an ATV that was stored for 6 months with the gas drained. I finally got it started using starting fluid, but it wouldn't idle and run properly. That afternoon, I got the Fuel System Revitalizer and tried it. It fixed the idle issues and ran great!!! I would recommend this product for sure!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by 65Corvette from Start Your EnginesI have a 2 cycle trimmer that hasn't run in over 2 years. I added fresh gasoline and could not get it started. I added 1 oz. of your Start to the fuel and pulled it a few times without success. I pulled and cleaned the plug and sprayed a small amount of engine start in the chamber and installed the plug. After a few pulls it started and ran rough for a short period before it smoothed out. l am convinced that your Start cleared out the carburetor and made the engine start easier and run smoother than it ever has.
I used to use the Start your Engine all the time in the 4oz. liquid form. It never failed me and i absolutely love it, but I can no longer find it anywhere. All I see is a similar can, but it is a spray. Do you sell the liquid version any more?

Hi. We appreciate your comments and feedback. Unfortunately, the 4oz liquid version is no longer available. If there are any questions on the use of the new and improved aerosol can, please let us know!

how many times should i try starting my snowblower after putting the product in? (pushing the primer bulb 5-10 times waiting two mins with each try) before needing repair to my carburetor.
Asked by: mike l
We recommend starting your snow blower at least 3 times, waiting 15 minutes in between tries. If the procedure does not yield results after trying 3 times, the equipment should be looked at by a certified small engines mechanic.

Asked by: stickshift
Here are the complete usage directions:
1.Remove engine fuel cap.
2.Insure that tank will not overflow with the addition of Start Your Engines! If the tank is too full, safely remove and responsibly dispose of enough fuel to allow the addition of 1 full can of Start Your Engines!
3.Add 1/2 of the Start Your Engines! can.
4.Fill tank with fresh fuel leaving enough room to add the remaining 1/2 bottle of Start Your Engines! if needed.
5.Replace engine fuel cap.
6.Tightly recap fuel additive and move Start Your Engines! and any fuel cans at least 20 feet from the engine and any other ignition source.
7.If engine is so equipped, press the primer/purge bulb 5-10 times.
8.Wait 2 minutes and attempt to start the engine per manufacturer's instructions.
9.If engine does not start, pour in the remainder of the can and repeat steps 5 through 8.
10.When engine starts, run at maximum safe no load speed for 2 minutes.
11.Engine is ready for use.

I have gas that's been stored for 2 yrs how do I revitalize and keep storing?
Asked by: Thrifty
Thank you for your questions. If your fuel has been stored for 2 years or more, it is recommended to dispose of it properly and start fresh. If it is not possible to drain the fuel tank, we advise to add Start Your Engines!® Fuel System Revitalizer prior to start the engine, and then run off the old fuel and replenish it with fresh gas. Please follow instructions on the label. If you require further assistance, do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
