Have a pressure washer? Store it in a cold place in the winter months? What happens if all the water is not drained out of your pressure washer? These are all great questions with one awesome solution! STA-BIL Pump Protector. Worst case scenario, you go to get your pressure washer out in the spring and you realize the pump is no longer building pressure, what could have went wrong? Most likely all the water in the system from last usage season froze and either damaged the pistons and seals in the pump, or the water froze and cracked the pump leaving your pressure washer useless.
The solution is STA-BIL Pump Protector. This protects your pressure washer pump and other internal components, like the pistons and seals during storage season. It also provides anti-freeze protection, so you no longer have to stress about that pump freezing. Not only that, but provides great lubrication for all the moving parts and prevents the buildup of harmful water mineral deposits.
STA-BIL experts recommend attaching the hose on the Pump Protector can to the inlet on the pressure washer (where the water hose connects). Next, press the button on the can to disperse the fluid into the pressure washer, once fluid begins to exit the pump, it is now protected. Remove the hose and store your pressure washer.
STA-BIL® Pump Protector is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 5 out of 5 by triglider151 from STA-BIL Pump ProtectorThis is the first time I have used this product. I thought I had drained all the water out of my pressure washer, but was really surprised at how much water this blew out when I connected the can to the water inlet and pushed the button. I did exactly what the directions said to do, and waited until the product flowed from the outlet of the pump. Really impressed with it, and am sure it will protect the pump and seals during storage. Also only had to use half of the can, so I have enough for next time. Cheap insurance for an expensive item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lou2 from Pressure Washer LubricantFall has arrived so time to put the washer away for the season. I connected the feed hose to the pump and flushed it out completely. The little water left in it came out quickly and I continued the flush with the pump spinning. Once I had pure lubricant flowing out I completed the flush. The only problem was connecting the tube. It would be much easier if t he tube connector would spin so it could be installed without also having to turn the can. Otherwise works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by pastang from Easy to use product.I got this as a free sample about a month ago. I finally stored my pressure washer for the winter and got to use it. It was very easy to hookup and use and did as described in the instructions. Just turn the threaded connector on to the inlet side ( water hose connection ). Then disconnect the discharge hose from the pump and spray into the pump till all water is removed and the spray comes out at the outlet of the pump. Very simple and easy process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Red Jeep Guy from Sta-Bil Pump ProtectorI have never used a power washer protector before, so after reading what can happen during the winter, I decided to try it. The comments on water freezing and corrosion convinced me that this was an important thing to do for winter storage. The product was easy to use and quick to do. Now I should have a power washer that is ready to go in the spring!

Rated 5 out of 5 by resq302 from easy prevention in a small can !I received this a few weeks ago just in time for prepping my pressure washer for the winter. This easy to use can with hose attaches right to the pump and sprays a liquid into the pump protecting it from corroding up causing you to have to rebuild or replace your pump for your pressure washer. Definitely a necessary item for any home owner !

Rated 5 out of 5 by bhoff 1976 from Fast and easyI had did what manual said to do, after the last time using the washer. Hooked up the can to the washer and pressed the top of can. In a second or 2 a little of water came out than a white foam came out. Shot another squirt in just white foam came out. Disconnect can and I was done. It took less than 5 min. to do it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RAK80642 from Very easy to useI usually go through a quart or so of RV anti freeze to winterize my pressure washer. This was really easy. I think I will probably use my washer more often because of the ease to winterize it. When we have a nice day I can bring it out and re winterize it in just a few minute.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ron750 from Easy to use.I received this as a free sample. I have never had a problem with my pump freezing, I usually just pull the starting rope a few times, with the spark plug wire off. I liked how easy this was to use, and that the pump has an antifreeze, and I assume anticorrosive in it.
