I had just crossed into TN and stopped at a SHELL station in Jellico TN. I went in and paid, took the cap off and put the nozzle in and waited and waited for the pump to turn on...finally started working. Guess what I forgot to do...yep, push 93 octane, it defaulted to 87 I guess. I knew something was wrong because my car, a 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth, was only boosting 5.5 lbs according to my Ultra gauge, the cruise control also didn't work now. Going down the freeway it dawned on me about the forgetting to push the 93 octane button, so I called 500Madness, the place that refreshed my piggyback tuned. They told me the ECU went into safe mode and that I needed to add some octane boost. I told them I had just filled up and they said not to worry about it, just dump it in. I stopped at an AutoZone and I bought the last bottles they had. I bought the 104+, now in a clear bottle, because it's been a long running brand by a great company known for other quality products. So I dumped it in and drive about 4 miles down the road, giving it time to mid around and then turned into the final leg of my trip. I accelerated and THE POWER WAS BACK! My Ultra gauge also showed an increase in boost pressure but only about a pound of two to 19 psi. The cruise control also worked again but this was surely apart of the default mode. This product works as advertised and IMO one should keep a bottle in their car in case this happens to you or if a station is out of premium, there were a couple stations down there out of premium BTW, so it's like having a can of fix a flat with you, you never know!

Rated 5 out of 5 by breezeinSTL from Made my '69 Merc Purr like a kitten I've been using additives & higher octane fuels in my '69 Mercury Marauder 429 for a long time to obviously help compensate for the lack of leaded fuel. The tank of fuel I used with this octane boost seemed par for course at first, certainly ran at least the same, but as I went through the tank the idle seemed a bit smoother and the valves seemed just a bit quieter. Might have been just me, but regardless, I'd rather add this than some of the other additives, both on price, contents of the additives and convenience of availability. Have to wait & see long-term. Overall happy for now!

It is mainly for vehicles, motorcycles and high power engines.STA-BIL® Storage (red) is specifically designed for long term storage –up to 24 months. STA-BIL 360® Performance™ will keep fuel fresh for 12 months, however, it also prevents corrosion, rust and condensation issues.
