1958 Chevy Corvette

1979 Triumph Spitfire
This is my 1958 Corvette. Nothing stock about it! My dad bought this car back in 1975 and has pretty much only driven it a handful of times. He passed the keys onto me, so my wife (Angie) and I have made a few changes. It has a 327 and Muncie 4-Speed trans. We went thru the motor and transmission. We put a Roller Cam, Brodix heads and Holley Street Dominator intake on it, along with a HEI ignition, Hooker headers and Flowmaster 2.5” exhaust to help with the increase in power. We had the Muncie trans rebuilt, added a Zoom Clutch system, and upgraded the driveshaft. Outback, it has a 12-Bolt Posi with a 3.73. It rolls on Weld Wheels and BF Goodrich rubber. The paint is the same from when my dad bought it over 30 years ago. Just used Mothers Wax and Polish to bring it back to life. The seats are from a 70’s vette, and have been painted black to match the interior. The top comes off during sunny days, and it’s a turn-key cruiser. We’re doing the Hot Rod Power Tour in 2009.  Thank you for help supporting our club. Here are some pictures of my car, it was the first new car I purchased. It is 29 years old and about 99% original. I keep it all original because it makes me feel 21 again when I drive it.

1972 Mack CF-600
I am Jim Alonzo, President of the Vettes in Perfection car Club. Our Treasurer, Kevin Morrill has told our group that your organization has graciously offered some products, gift certificates, and some decals for our show's goody bags. We at VIP thank you very much. Our proceeds do go to a worthy cause, The Double H Hole in the Woods Camp for critically ill children. This was one of the camps Paul Newman started. I also understand you are looking for car photos for your online car show. I am submitting a picture of my C6 2006 Corvette Convertible in Velocity Yellow. It is a 6spd with power top, navigation, and the Z51 package. I have also added the fade graphics, B&B Route 66 exhaust and a few other items. *** I represent and warrant that the entries submitted do not infringe any other person's or entity's rights, and entrants assign all rights in entry to Gold Eagle Company. 2009 Dodge Challenger RT
Decatur Mopars

2005 Chevy Corvette
Vettes in Perfection Car Club
2009 Dodge Challenger RT with the six speed. Has sunroof, power leather seats, seat heaters, power everything, 5.7 Hemi, 376 hp, LSD rear with 3.73 axle ratio, last chance to buy a real musclecar before they are outlawed or taxed to death. Of course I will be broke for about 5.5 years, lol, but its worth it. So far its all stock but would like to add long tube headers, cam, intake, or any engine and handling performance modifications I can get. Too bad I cant afford to do any of that for a long time but the car is great as is. Besides, I have an 09 Yamaha R6 for speed. Anytime I get it out to drive it gets looks and so far everyone seems to like it a lot. Didn't buy it to get the looks but it's a nice benefit anyway. Can't wait to have some fun with the new Mustang and Camaros, nice to have another musclecar war even if it's going to be a very short one this time. It handles pretty decent for its weight(4100 more or less) but for sure it isn't a Vette or a sports car in the corners. Still handles 100% bette  I am sending this in case this is the email address to send to. My Vette is a 2005 and I am sure you are looking for more vintage cars, but here it is anyway. Thanks for your support for our Cruise-Ins.

1963 Corvette Grand Sport
ILNCRS

1969 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S
Decatur Mopars
Back in 1963, GM built just five Grand Sports for racing, mainly to beat up on the Cobras of those days. The ultimate goal was to take the cars to Le Mans; however, they never made it. The first few races, they did whip up on the Cobras forcing Shelby to put the 427 engine in them. After that, times were tough. The Corvette body is just not aerodynamic enough at high speeds. A.J Foyt used to indicate that he'd have to let off on the gas to get the front end back down on the ground. Recently, original Grand Sports #1 and #3 sold for $4,500,000 and $5,500,000 respectively. The #2 car was up for auction by R & M in January of this year and expected to bring between 7 and 9 million dollars. Due to the economy, it was bid up to $6,000,000, but failed to sell. Since I could not afford one of the original Grand Sports, I decided to build and exact replica as a tribute to the originals. The car was viewed by Dick Guldstrand (an original GS driver) at the Road America Vintage races and after walking around the car several times, his only comment was, "John Mecom would be proud!" John Mecom was the original owner of chassis #004 back in 1963. The ultimate compliment! The pictures attached are only a sampling of what I have available. If there is something else you would like to see, let me know and I can forward a couple of extras. I've tried to give you some of the racing version as well as the car without the decals and meatballs. I hope you will consider our car worthy enough to be included in your new On-Line venture!  i bought this car in cullman alabama found it in a field, the interior, needed work and did not run it has a 318 motor,3 speed automatic, i have owned this car for about 15 years, this car was bought brand new in cullman alabama as far as i know i am the 2nd owner,i bought this car for 1,500.00 it has 122,389 miles on it, i have won many trophes , i know just take it to cruse ins- when i can, i am a memeber of the decatur alabma mopars.

1974 Chevy Corvette Convertible

1965 Impala Sports Coupe
Alabama Street Muscle
I bought the car in 2000 from a guy who could not finish the restoration. It was fresh from the paint shop, all the outside trim, lights, door handles, etc. had to be put back on and there was no interior in it. The interior came brand new in boxes for me to assemble. The next few years I completed the frame on restoration, performing projects in the winter and driving it in the summer.   Vehicle’s Story: this car is an all original matching numbers car, 327 cid with p/g transmission, factory a/c, p/s, p/b, vinyl top. this car is completly unmolested, it is factory original except for dual exhaust, still run bias ply tires (still has from the factory spare tire). this is an original california car and has been in the family since purchased.

1928 Ford Model A Roadster
LoneStar Model A Ford Club

1993 Harley Davidson Heritage
This roadster was manufactured in May of 1928. Base price was $385 with $35 extra for the Rumble Seat. It was restored in 1975 and refurbished in 2005. It has won several trophies and has been used extensivly in parades and on tours. 1993 Harley Davidson Heritage, saved our pennies and bought this new in 93, from Seacoast Harley in NH. Shipped from factory to California where we broke it in on a one month tour of the states as a fund raiser for the Childrens Miracle Network, we toured 20 states and two provinces of Canada, along with visiting 5 Childrens hospitals and lots of great kids! The bike now unbranded "hot heads" and a performance carb under the stock breather, a mildly aggresive cam and slash cut mufflers. It is my perfect sleeper. We live in Maine so it doesn't see much action especially these days with children of our own but I can always count on it firing up because I have always used Stabil products and more than likely always will. Thanks to the Stabil chemist for staying up on the everchanging gas recipes and making a great product.

1980 Chevy Camaro Hugger Z28
The Hugger Registry
1967 Corvette have loved this year since I was old enough to drive have owned several early Corvettes and have done 3 complete body off the frame restorations - and am now just doing the finishing touches on this one .... almost there The Hugger Registry 4924 Balboa Blvd, #457 Encino, CA 91316 www.HuggerZ28.com The idea for the Hugger Camaros was conceived by Tom Neal in the spring of 1979 as a means of funding his racing effort in the Twenty-four Hours of Daytona. Neal took a page out of the Indy Pace Car Dealer Drive away but with an unusual twist. The drive aways were to be modeled after the number 28 Camaro race car instead of the pace car used to start the race. The race car number itself was selected in order to publicize the newly engineered 1980 Z-28 Camaro. Early in 1979 Neal had developed a strategy for running the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) Twenty-Four Hour Pepsi Challenge, an endurance race run over the course at Daytona International Speedway on the 2-3 February 1980. Neal knew from experience that in endurance racing reliability, consistent lap after lap performance, was as important as speed - before you can win, you have to finish. Neal believed the reliable consistent performance needed for endurance racing could be obtained by modifying a z-28 Camaro. His plan called for limiting the modification to the car so that after the race the car could be returned to its original street condition. Funding for the race car and its entry into the 1980 IMSA Twenty-Four Hour Pepsi Challenge was to come from the Jacksonville Zone Chevrolet dealers who were going to participate in the Twenty-Four Hours of Daytona Dealer Driveaway. For this reason the driveways were only available in Florida. Bill Mitchell, a well-known specialist in Camaro modifications, entered the picture when Neal’s fellow racing enthusiast Bill Warren recommended that Mitchell’s Company, Special Vehicle Development (SVD), build the Daytona Special 150 (DS150) number 28 race car and the DS150 Camaros. In the Fall of 1979 the Chevy Camaro Z-28 advertising focused on the suspension - “A Driving Legend.” The ads read in part, “It’s engineered from the ground up, with the most sop

1968 Chevy Impala z24 (ss427)
National Impala Assoc.

1976 Datsun 280Z
Z Club of Houston
1968 Impala Z24 (SS 427) with all original 425 HP L72 427, M21 4-Speed, F41 suspension and 4:11 Posi rear end. The car is Grotto Blue over a Parchment Z03 Super Sport interior. It is one of 1,778 Z24 cars built in 1968, and one of 568 Full-Size Chevy's built with the L72 425 HP 427 that year. Unfortunately, no records on how many of those 568 cars were RPO Z24 SS 427's - most Z24's were built with the 385 HP L36 427 in `68, while the majority of the L72's were likely dropped into the lighter Biscaynes and Bel Airs for strip duty.
I bought the car, not running, for $500. With the help of my son and his friend, I did a full restoration, painted in the original color. The Z is a multiple award winner, including Best In Class at the 2008 Houston Autorama
