1958 Corvette

Sonny's 1958 Chevy Corvette

This is my 1958 Corvette.  Nothing stock about it!  My dad bought this car back in 1975 and has pretty much only driven it a handful of times.  He passed the keys onto me, so my wife (Angie) and I have made a few changes.
It has a 327 and Muncie 4-Speed trans.  We went thru the motor and transmission. We put a Roller Cam, Brodix heads and Holley Street Dominator intake on it, along with a HEI ignition, Hooker headers and Flowmaster 2.5? exhaust to help with the increase in power.  We had the Muncie trans rebuilt, added a Zoom Clutch system, and upgraded the driveshaft.   Outback, it has a 12-Bolt Posi with a 3.73.  It rolls on Weld Wheels and BF Goodrich rubber.

The top comes off during sunny days, and it's a turn-key cruiser.  We're doing the Hot Rod Power Tour in 2009!
