Gold
Eagle, headquartered in Chicago and privately
held, was founded in 1932 by Armin Hirsch.
For more than 70 years, Gold Eagle has
been an industry pioneer in the production
and distribution of aftermarket fluids
and additives. We are an innovator and
leader in the product development, manufacturing,
marketing, and distribution of branded
engine performance and maintenance chemicals.
Our headquarters, manufacturing, and distribution
facilities occupy over 350,000 square
feet in the heart of Chicago’s industrial
hub.
Gold Eagle’s state-of-the-art
manufacturing plant includes in-house
plastic bottle blow molding along with
complete blending, filling, labeling,
and packaging operations for products
ranging in size from 4 oz. bottles to
55 gallon drums. Our modern and efficient
warehousing and shipping facilities have
drop-shipment capabilities and provide
accurate, complete, and on-time fulfillment
of customer orders. On-site laboratory
facilities and staff have helped establish
Gold Eagle as a leader in product formulation
and innovation, providing for testing
and quality assurance from the very start
of the product development/production
process. We have a guiding principle that
we will never put any formulation in a
bottle that doesn't meet the claims
on the bottle…that is the product
will absolutely do what is says it will
do. In addition, all products are sold
with an unconditional money-back guarantee.
The
company has three separate business units. The Retail and Installer
Brands Group markets and sells more than 100 branded products including
HEET® Gas-Line Antifreeze, STA-BIL® Fuel Stabilizer, 104+®
Octane Boost, NO-LEAK® Treatments, AlumAseal® Radiator Stop
Leak, DieselPower!™ Diesel Additives, Gold Eagle® brand,
and Golden Touch® (our brand of chemical products designed for
the professional installers market) to wholesalers, retailers, and
installers in North America. The Private Brands Group supplies over
400 different OEM and private branded products into the majority
of the top engine-related original equipment manufacturers and retail
marketers. The International Group sells branded and private labeled
products to distributors in over 70 countries.
Gold Eagle brings an enormous measure of history and
experience to today’s aftermarket. Throughout the company’s
history, Gold Eagle has helped pioneer a number of significant product
and packaging innovations including the industry’s first use
of polyethylene bottles, the introduction of premixed windshield
washer antifreeze and the first functional-neck bottle for brake
and power steering fluid. This tradition of innovation and industry
leadership led to Ernst & Young naming Bob and Rich Hirsch together
as their 2002 Entrepreneur Of The Year!
We
are most proud of the men and women of
Gold Eagle who truly make the difference.
Each plays an active part toward a common
